My garage flooded. Do I need a new door?
Usually not. Salt water damages the bottom section, the bottom brackets, the cable ends, the rollers and anything electrical, while everything above about three feet is normally sound. That makes it a section-and-hardware repair rather than a full replacement.
My opener dried out and works fine. Should I still replace it?
