About · Naples & Collier County
A mobile garage door company in Naples that publishes its prices and would rather repair your door than sell you a new one.
The short version. We are a mobile service, not a showroom. Every price we charge is on the pricing page. We quote the repair before the replacement, and when a door genuinely is not worth repairing we say so with reasons you can check yourself.
City Garage Door is a garage door repair and replacement service covering Naples, Golden Gate, Golden Gate Estates, East Naples, Lely, Marco Island, Immokalee, Ave Maria, Orangetree and Bonita Beach. We work out of vans rather than a showroom, which keeps the overhead down and is a large part of why our published prices look the way they do.
Most of what we do is unglamorous and urgent: a spring that snapped this morning, a cable that let go, a door that will not close because a sensor got knocked. The rest is new doors, hurricane-rated replacements, and the insurance and wind-mitigation work that goes with them in this part of Florida.
We publish prices. Almost nobody in Naples does. Every spring, cable, roller, opener and door on this site carries a real range, and if your job falls outside that range we tell you before we start rather than after. It removes the single most common complaint about this trade.
We quote the repair first. A thirty-year-old door with straight sections and sound track is usually worth repairing, and a repair is a few hundred dollars against a few thousand. We only recommend replacement when the sections are rusted through, the door is too damaged to carry a wind rating, or the maths genuinely favours it — and we show you why.
We know the Florida detail. Collier County has a 170 mph design wind speed and the entire county is a wind-borne debris region, including Immokalee and Ave Maria thirty miles inland. Collier is also not a High Velocity Hurricane Zone, so a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance here is a voluntary upgrade rather than a code requirement. Most companies blur that. We would rather tell you the truth and earn the job on it.
That a wind mitigation credit is all-or-nothing, so a new rated door does nothing for your premium if another opening in the house is unprotected. That My Safe Florida Home funding opens and closes in cycles and nobody should charge you a fee to apply. That a replaced panel can invalidate a door’s product approval if the series does not match. That the noise you are hearing is probably $180 of rollers and not a $450 opener.
None of that is generosity. It is the only way a service business survives on repeat work and referrals rather than on one-time jobs.
Describe the problem. If we can talk you out of a repair you do not need, we will.

Naples and all of Collier County, plus Bonita Beach in south Lee. That means the built-up coast, the older neighbourhoods inland, the acre lots out east and the island — each of which breaks doors in a different way. The area pages go through what we see in each one.
Not a call centre, not a script. (239) 372-6095.
No. We are a mobile service, and that is deliberate — the overhead of a showroom would show up in the prices. If you want to see door options we bring samples and the manufacturer literature to you.
Yes. Ask when you call and we will provide the details before any work starts, which is what you should do with any contractor in Florida.
Because the ranges are published before you call. We quote against them on the phone, confirm on site before touching anything, and if the job genuinely falls outside the range we say so before we start rather than after.
Yes, and it happens regularly. A door that sounds like it needs an opener usually needs rollers. A panel people expect to be a full door replacement is often a single section. We would rather have the smaller job and the next one.
All of Collier County — Naples, Golden Gate, the Estates, East Naples, Naples Manor, Lely, Naples Park, North Naples, Marco Island, Immokalee, Ave Maria and Orangetree — plus Bonita Beach in south Lee. No area pays more than another.
Yes — rolling steel, commercial sectional, high-cycle springs, operators and NFPA 80 fire door drop testing. Details are on the commercial page.
